By far the best work from Ben Harper. I have always been a huge fan of his slower jams, and this album is packed with them. The faster songs are of political nature, but they aren’t much of a change from his past. With tunes like “Black Rain” and “Better Way”, this album manages to capture more of a cultural vibes. “Get It like You Like It” was a wonderful choice for the single.
