They finally grew up and started hitting the instruments with massive amounts of energy. They’ve dropped that whole emo/pop sound and changed to a harder hitting metal sound. Although the lyrics are a huge improvement from their previous work, the songs are still about a bloody romance filled with pain and agony. The only problem is similar song structures: too often you forget what song you are listening to and come to the subtle realization that most of the songs sound the same.
