For an album that is named after a type of cocaine, this disc isn’t all that exciting or uplifting. Ghostface Killah was once in an amazing rap group (Wu Tang Clan), but his solo effort doesn’t deem such praiseworthy attributes. I’m pretty tolerant when it comes to dirty lyrics, but some of the lyrics on here are a little too raunchy for my taste. I hate rap interludes because they kill the flow of the album, and this one is filled with them. The thing that keeps this album alive is a couple of all-star tracks like “Whip You with a Stick.” Unfortunately there aren’t enough of these killer hits.
