First of all, this album has the wildest album art I have ever seen. It looks like a guy eating another guy’s head, and that guy is eating another man’s head. Kind of hard to describe, but you get the point. Anyway, the music: Mew sounds like an upbeat Sigur Ros, laced with Muse’s stylish progression. The songs are dark, graceful beauties that make you feel like you are in a surreal dream world. Often, you feel like the energy is building, but you are left minutes later waiting for the energy to explode.
