Despite the political undertones and the ambitious new direction, this album isn’t anything spectacular. How can you expect anything less from a band that has dozens of renowned singles and countless die-hard fans? The rock is still pounding, but there are simply better rock bands around today. They should have also picked a better single off the album because “World Wide Suicide” is probably one of the worst Pearl Jam songs I have ever heard. And what's the deal with the avocado on the cover?
