For comparisons, their style is very similar to that of Zero 7. While they haven’t seen much success in the US, they have topped the charts in the UK. This greatest hits album compiles the best of Massive Attack, allowing an exposure to their heightened glory days as well as their dark and distorted era. The problem with this album is that the songs are meant to be listened to on their respected albums. You really can’t get a good appreciation for this band by listening to singles. As a result, the greatest hits album looses its touch.
